Haiku OS is a modern and flexible Operating System which has figured out many of the annoyances of modern personal computing. It’s been built from the ground up in C++ for today’s modern multi-threaded processors, and doesn’t experience “go-slows” like other Operating Systems.
It’s history lies in the BeOS from the early 2000s, but it is maintained by a community who lovingly curate the operating system and its apps.

Although an admirer for a number of years, I’ve now gotten involved in the project myself as a developer, video producer, and prolific bug/enhancement reporter! I’ve just taken on the Paladin IDE – A Graphical coding environment for managing C++ projects and their associated assets.
I’ll be posting videos, blog posts, and other content around Haiku, so be sure to check them out!
