I found a great report on wikibon around the NoSQL and Hadoop predicted market share for 2012-2017…
This report shows MarkLogic ahead of the pack with 13% of the market, followed by Cloudera (of Hadoop fame) at 10%, and IBM at 9%.
MongoDB only came third, with 7% of market share.
Note that this market share analysis is on combined software and services revenue. I was particular interested that MongoDB was so far behind in percentage terms, and even more amazed that Oracle was way down with only 4% of revenue in the market.

My favourite chart of them all though is the last one, ‘revenue per dollar of funding through 2012’. Looks like MarkLogic is great value for money! (I should declare that as a MarkLogic employee I have share options myself in this private company.)
