MarkLogic workflow aims to provide a BPMN2 compliant workflow runtime built purely in MarkLogic Server. This provides content and human centric workflow processing. This enables workflows to create new content, manage existing content (including disposition), and linking multiple pieces of content.
In future this will be expanded to include case management support and interacting with full-fleged BPM suites too.
